Saint Ann by the Sea Parish is located in the Ocean Bluff section of Marshfield, just across from the Atlantic Ocean. The worship style of the parish is traditional and promotes a sense of family. The staff and volunteers are friendly and hospitable. During the summer months the parish attendance increases with the participation of our summer residents, and a great sense of joy echoes throughout the sacred space.

Heeding the call of Pope Francis, Saint Ann by the Sea, has placed a special emphasis on becoming a ‘Church for the Poor.’

Heeding the call of Pope Francis, Saint Ann by the Sea, has placed a special emphasis on becoming a ‘Church for the Poor.’  We are engaged in forming believers to take part in our Missionary Activity, and we are involved with work both locally and internationally.

The parish is active in social justice ministry and is active in the local community, particularly with the Marshfield Boys and Girls Club, Sewing Seeds, Marshfield Food Pantry and the N.E. Veterans Homeless Shelter in Boston.
